The Contact Center displays a list of all contacts that can be used for email sends. Each row is one contact and each column shows a specific detail or action for that contact.
Contact list columns
- First Name / Last Name
Clicking the first or last name opens the full contact detail page where you can view and manage all information for that contact. - Email
Clicking the email address opens your default/local email program and starts a new message addressed to that contact’s email.
- Groups
Shows all groups that the contact belongs to so you can see which lists or segments they are included in. - Phone Number
Clicking the phone number attempts to start a call to that number using the default calling option on your device. - Has Market Preferences?
Indicates whether the contact has at least one market preference configured (Yes/No), allowing you to quickly see who is set up for market-specific updates.
Actions column
- Eye icon
Opens the contact’s activity view, where you can see their email history and any saved searches associated with that contact. - Pencil icon
Opens the contact edit form so you can update their details, groups, or other settings. - Trash can icon
Deletes the contact from the Contact Center (usually with a confirmation step before removal).
Top toolbar buttons
- Create New
Creates a new contact record and opens the contact detail form to enter their information. - Manage Groups
Opens the Groups area, where you can create, edit, or delete contact groups and manage which contacts belong to each group. - Import
Opens the import tool so you can add multiple contacts at once from a file (such as a CSV) instead of entering them manually. - Export
Lets you export your contacts to a file, either for all contacts or only those in specific group(s), for use in other systems or for backup.
Search and filter
- Search bar
Use the search field to quickly find a specific contact by typing part of their name, email address, or other searchable information. - Filter by group
Use the filter options to narrow the list to contacts in one or more selected groups, making it easier to focus on specific segments.
